Hot Aches are a high profile British production company specializing in climbing films. Their previous production E11 quickly became the most successful European climbing film of the last decade. It also received 13 international film awards, a degree of recognition almost unique within the genre of films featuring climbing or mountaineering.
In addition to making climbing films, Directors Dave Brown and Paul Diffley also work as extreme location cameramen for both US and British TV networks covering a wide range of sports.
Based out of Edinburgh, Scotland, the majority of their film work is throughout the UK, however their forthcoming film projects mark a significant shift to overseas locations.
Hot Aches also have a strong photography business, publishing climbing and outdoor pictures in both mainstream and specialist climbing press around the world.
